Everything we do as a charity is underpinned by the mighty voices of children and young people. Far too often, the voices of young people experiencing challenges or facing adversity in their lives simply go unheard. Our youth voice services inspire young people to express themselves through the power of creativity.
We also work with other charities, organisations, youth services, and employers to support best practice, youth-led approaches which foster meaningful cultures that place youth voice at the heart.
Our Youth Board of five mighty young people aged 16-25 play a central role in our charity, helping to inform our services and decision-making. They provide insight, ideas and perspectives on young people’s needs and experiences. And they get involved in all areas of TMC, including recruitment, service development, creative workshops, exhibitions, our youth voice network, and our podcast series!
Our Mighty Employers Network brings together like-minded organisations committed to supporting young people aged 16-25 from vulnerable circumstances. We offer funding, support, training, guidance, and networking opportunities which empower employers to provide opportunities for young people to succeed in the working world.
Led by our Youth Board, our Youth Voice Network is a space for organisations to share best practice approaches to youth voice and better understand the topics that young people care about – from education, mental health, and the environment to diversity, equality and inclusion (EDI).
We work with a variety of organisations and youth services in a consultancy role to support creative youth-led projects that provide a platform for young creative voices. From creative workshops to videos, we’re here to help you empower your young people to express their voices.
